Its really nice when it snows.
Too bad most people don’t know how to drive in it.
Also, I wish it would stick to the ground so I could make snow angels, snow men, or most importantly go sledding.

P.S. Does anyone know what the past tense of “sled” is? I think its “Slud”.

Nate James and I are going snowboarding in a few weeks.
We are so stoked. We even go to the gym to workout specifically for snowboarding.
The picture is of Nate strapped into his new board practicing some balancing/grabs.

My father and I aren’t lumber jacks by trade, but occasionally we dabble.
The day after Christmas, while most were shopping, my dad and I set out to trim back part of this huge tree that threatened to smash part of our house–had it fallen during a storm or high winds. It was no small task however. The pieces, which hung over our roof, needed

The Christmas parties have begun.
Last night was Paradigm’s annual family Christmas party. Everyone gets dressed up [this year's theme was TV] and has a great time. Its small group based, so my small group worked together to come as Dora The Explorer.
Some of our team won for best costume. [Although there were many other great costumes that night].
Also, last week was

“I have been to the mountain top.”
I’d like to borrow these elegant words from the powerful last speech given by MLK Jr. Although, I can’t claim to use them like he did. His verbose language was taut from years of social reform, my words were whispered breathlessly after I drove to the top of a Texas foot hill.

“Clean up, clean up, everybody do your share; clean up, clean up, everybody everywhere.”
That’s a motto that I try to live by.

Nate James dropped his first album over the weekend at The EP Release.
It was tight, and if you missed it you missed out on the better part of 2009. Just saying, but its true.
His album entitled The EP is available for purchase in person, but we’re working together to somehow put it up online for those out-of-state fans.
Also, I

It was Kasi Hollowell’s birthday the other day, so she had a big party on Friday night. It was a lot of fun. A-Town and myself were asked to perform, of coarse we complied. We opened for the Kasi&Casey as well as The Hoffman.
Also, there were these shrimp cocktail things that I liked a lot.
Happy Birthday Kasi,

Musical Practice is going well.
Last Thursday we had a small party to celebrate a semester worth of work. We still have quite a bit of work ahead of us, but the majority is behind us. The work we’ve to do now is just tweaking to make everything funnier.
I’m excited to show you all.

At CFNI there is a hallway that has the niches where the school intended to display something. For months they have been empty. But not any more.
I started an Art Exhibit using this hallway. I brought in my work and set them up for everyone to see. So far I think people like it, and no one has asked that I take it down.

For a graphic designer I sure don't do much in regards to interior design.
The photo above shows the extent of my Christmas decorating.
It may look like just hand soap to most people, but its red, and smells a little bit like Christmas, so I'm using it as decoration...
