An Uncomfortable Request

[No Photo]

Allow me to begin by saying, “I’m totally comfortable in my body.  I mean, I know I’m no Matthew McConaughey, but I’m practically a Channing Tatum.”  And I say all that because despite how confident I am in my rugged good looks, the other night I really didn’t want to take off my shirt.

However, its not because I didn’t think the ladies would like it, rather I thought they’d enjoy it a little too much—if you know what I mean.

What had happened was Stephen Merkey and I were playing Tennis.  Justin La Fond was there too keeping score [txt-ing] and fetching balls [listening to music]. We were having a swell time, Merkey turned out to be more of a challenge than I though he would be, and as he’s working his way to game point this lady walks into the court area and this happens:

Lady: “Excuse me, I hate to be a b**ch, but I’m asking because I live right there [points to house]…

Andrew: [stares blankly]

Stephen: [listens cautiously]

Lady: …but could you guys take your shirts off?

Andrew: Uhh….

Stephen: ..Ehhh…..

Lady: You know? Just like while you guys are playing and stuff?  We just want to watch

Andrew: Oh…. Ugh…

Stephen: ….Yeah, I don’t think so….

Lady: Please? We just think it would be really great if you guys took off your shirts..

Andrew: …no….

Lady:  [says something more but I stopped listening and turned back to Stephen]

Stephen:  I’m going to serve now, I don’t want to hit you…

The lady turned around to leave.  But when she got back to her porch, her and her friends had some unsavory words to yell at us.

Stephen ended up winning the match.

  1. Wow! That’s the coolest thing I have ever heard. First off how old was she? How many girls were there?

  2. @Nathan. It wasn’t cool. She looked like early 40′s [but she was a smoker so she could have really been late 30's]. And I’m pretty sure she was drunk. I didn’t count how many were on her porch but it was only like 2 or 3 people.

  4. @Cameron when things like this happen, I wish I was in a TV show run by Greg Daniels.
