Friday afternoon I went on a retreat with the YFN Leadership team to a baptist retreat center in Glenrose, TX.

I had a blast playing team-building games and bonding with the other leaders.  The food was also pretty good.

The photo was taken from the lookout point which overlooked the Brazos river.

Also, we all went down a zip line.  That was a rush.

Valentines

I’m running a little behind with my blogs, but back on Valentines day my sister and her roommates all threw a killer valentines party.

So many people squeezed into their modest sized apartment that many people were surprised.

We had activities like, speed dating, battle of the sexes, and newly weds.

But don’t worry, everything was kept PG rated.

Unfortunately most of the CFNI students had to leave around

I went to Houston over the weekend with Alan “A-Town” Jensen.  He ships off for the military next week and so we went to visit some of his extended family.

His cousins, the Jalifis, are really cool. They let us stay with them for the weekend, and Alan and I got to hang out with their kids [who are 15 and 18].

In this photo it looks like my car was completely snowed in. It wasn't as bad as it looks in the photo, but a lot of people were immobilized by the snow storm.

My friends and I had a lot of fun in the snow. Our day included a brief stint at DBU and an adventure off of hwy 408E.

Below are some photos...

CFNI Worship Conference

CFNI hosted a Worship Conference last week.  It concluded on Friday night [despite snowy conditions] with a live recording for an upcoming CD release.

The days leading up to Friday were incredible, over crowded, but incredible none the less.

The worship was great, the lights and the sound were flawless, and the spirit of God was present [most importantly].

Saturday night was Walk The Light, a local arts “festival” [for lack of a better term].

Its a really cool event that has a lot of live music and art.  Their goal is to express creativity and raise support for some charities.

This week they supported Vickery Meadows, an organization that helps the homeless in our area.

I had a great time seeing the different

YFN Team Building Day

Saturday was YFN’s Team Building Day.

We built teams, unity, comrade and the like.

More specifically, we played DODGEBALL!

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed playing dodgeball until those 6.25″ rhino skinned foam balls started whooshing past me.  I did all I could to dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge my way to victory, but sadly was eliminated a number of times.

We also played

I’ve been working lately with future roommate Josh Hoffman to record some of his sweet serenades.

I can’t post any here on Project Nemeth because they aren’t finished yet, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to share some samples with y’all soon.

I don’t know how good I am at this music production stuff, but it sure seems fun.  Oh, and when I say “studio” I really

The YFN Dramical team had a photoshoot the other day.

Young B was our photographer, and he is so good at what he does. And its a good thing too, because I don't know how to position myself in front of the camera. I seem to do better on the other side [as a photographer]...

I Picked Up a Ladder

I literally picked up a ladder.

What happened was I was going out to eat with some friends, and as we got out of the car near 35 and Northwest Highway, we heard what we thought were gun shots.  It was really just a ladder falling out of the back of a pickup truck.

Josh said, “Man that sucks to lose a ladder.”  And
