Paradigm went to the beach last weekend.
We had a blast on our weekend road trip down to Surf Side, TX fro some white sands and open waters.
Paradigm has made this an annual event, to rent 3 beach houses and make a point to have a good time with church family.
While there I got quite a bit of sun.

Abrik, Ashely, and I shared a cheesecake last night after small groups. It was delicious, but afterwards I couldn’t help but think that I should have stopped after 2 pieces.
Small groups was really funny because Ashley told this great story about a friend’s cousin and a certain Jehovah’s Witness. If you haven’t heard the story, you need to have her tell it to you.

The heat has been our for almost a month. It didn’t seem like a problem when the high was 70′s and the lows were 55′s. But today it started snowing.
The temperature was only 37 degrees. And after lighting a small candle for the scent I realized that a fire would help keep me warm. In hindsight this was a terrible idea. Our

On our 4th and last full day in Louisiana we went back to the sports park and played some basketball, four-square, and kickball. That was a lot of fun, but the best part was that later that night we went out on the town. Not False River town, but rather Baton Rouge.
We drove out to the big city around 6 and went to go have

Monday was Sports Day.
In the morning, when we got up, we divided into teams. Then we played a series of sports to determine which team was the champion team.
Team 1 won. I was on team 1.
We also went on the Jet Ski/SeaDoo, which Josh Wright really liked.

The girls also fell

On Sunday Shane and his family sponsored a big crawfish boil for all of us.
It was so good to be in Louisiana and eat authentic Louisianan food.
I sucked the heads.
Also, tried Boudin for the first time [pronounced: boo-dan]. And also picked up some slang terms like “popeye” and “tchefuncte” [pronounced: je-funk-ty].
We also played some football and jumped in the lake/river.

Spring Break began on Friday after the YFN worship recording. I drove home and almost instantly began to pack for my trip to Louisiana [LA].
A group of us [occasionally refered to as "220"] drove down to Baton Rouge area to see Lindsey’s grandparents and Shane’s camp.
We left around midnight, and drove all through the night. We arrived at Maw-Maw’s house around 7a saturday

This morning Emily, Shayna, and I rode our bicycles from Emily’s apartment to the school [about 5 miles]. It took us nearly an hour and we arrived just in time [8:00:36].
It was harder than any of us imagined it would be. So much so that the girls didn’t want to ride back. So after school I set off to ride back by myself. But

Still haven’t decided on a name for the dog.
And despite how much work its created for me, I can’t help but feel attached to it as it regularly falls asleep on me.

We [the guys living at 909] got a dog.
Technically its Josh's dog, but since it shares the same house that we do, its more or less everyone's.
The previous owner named the dog Precious. I don't like that name and so me and the other guys are trying to come up with a better name...

I got my bicycle the other day, but haven’t really been able to ride it because of work and school.
Tonight I’m hoping to go buy a reflective vest so that I can ride at night without getting hit by a car.

I moved into a new house.
Me and the 5 other guys throw a house warming party.
Some of the girls [Emily, Lindsey, Jenni, and Mom] were awesome enough to buy us a Ping Pong Table and a Air Hockey Table.
I’m so thankful to everyone who came, and grateful for those that brought gifts.
