Over the weekend part of the YFN team travelled down to Bastrop, TX to minister to Celebration church.

The trip was fun, we left saturday and drove most of the afternoon.  We stayed the night there at the church, sleeping on floors, beanbags, chairs, and one lucky person found a couch.  The church also had showers, so the next morning we were able to wash

Juice Boxes are awesome.

And you can see [via link below] that real men drink juice boxes.

Perspective

It’s all about perspective.

Perspective:

I’m so rich my table cloth has a higher thread count then you’re bed sheets.  I spill food on higher quality then you sleep on.

Reality:

We were having guests over for dinner and didn’t have a table cloth.  I used some sheets that I had lying around [which I had purchased for the color but they so happen to be

Over the weekend a group of us celebrated Willie’s birthday.

I forget how old he turned, but I’m sure it will be a good year.

We had been playing games outside all afternoon and the rains had seemed to hold off, allowing us to play.  But when we headed inside to eat the rains came pouring. Unfortunately we hadn’t cooked the burgers yet.  So some poor

On Friday one of my teachers invited our class over to her house for lunch.  While there I saw this picture frame thing that said, “The LORD will Provide.”

I think that’s the story of my life.

The other day at school we took a small trip out side and had class out in the sun.  It felt really nice.

While out there the instructor gave us some lessons on self-defense.

Some of it was helpful, some of it informative, but all of it was entertaining.

This weekend I went up to Altus, Oklahoma with a team from YFN [Youth For the Nations].

We were invited to come host a YFN: Weekend even at Altus Christian Fellowship via their youth group Overflow.  We had a blast with the teens there. We had incredible worship, Jared E. and Keisha H. both brought a God word, and the nation games were a lot of

On Thursday I went on a picnic with L. Russell.  We shared soup, cashews, trail-mix, and a kit-kat to create our 3 course meal.

It was modest to say the least, but the weather was pleasant and the conversation was easy.

Its funny how it came together.  I was driving towards the YFN office, and she was leaving the SYM room.  I in my car and her

I’ve always known how to “play” the guitar, its simple: Pick up the guitar, strum with your right hand and contort the fingers on your left hand against the neck of the guitar. Its easy.

But more recently, I’ve been learning actually guitar chords.  In this photo Mary and I were creating a pretty extraordinary duet. She’s also a musician.

Here’s another photo of me playing the

Happy Easter

I hope you all had a great Resurrection Sunday. I know I did.  Every time I shook a hand I said, “Blessings, He is risen.”  It felt fitting.

After church a group of friends came over to my parents house to celebrate with us.  Most of them were unable to spend Easter with their family [for one reason or another] so we were able to

Server Maintenance

My server [affectionately called "Teletron"] went down about a week ago.

I’m scavenging some old parts from another computer to rebuild it harder, better, faster, stronger.  I’d rename it Kanye, but I don’t ever want it to stop me while I’m in the middle of something.

I think between Friday and Saturday I’ve spent about 8 or 9 hours trying to get all my data

Nate James came back from his music tour with a new game that he learned.  We played it last night after church and had a blast.

Its hard to explain the entire game and how it works in words.  But the objective is to slap each others hand.

It is a game that will challenge your reflexes.  Judging by the games we played, the villagomez twins have
