Palmer Wedding

Yesterday Jazz Hyde and Daniel Palmer were joined in Holy Matrimony. Its pretty magical to watch a couple like that pledge before God and man their love for each other and their commitment and covenant to the relationship that makes the two become one.

A car load of us made the drive to San Antonio to witness the wedding. Myself, Cameron, Stephen, Jarred, and Maria all piled into my car and drove for 5 hours.  On the way down and back we stopped at the Czech stop for some kolaches.

Funny thing about our drive down there was we planned enough time to drive from Dallas to San Antonio, but we didn’t budget any time for getting lost [which we did].  We finally arrived at the church about 25 min late. However, since we had been in the car all day we weren’t in the proper wedding attire, so we quickly ran to the restroom to change.  While in there suiting up another guy came in and I thought, “Great, we can sneak in with him and no one will notice we’re late”. But as I left the bathroom I noticed the lobby area had become filled with people and Maria informed us that it had just ended. We missed the wedding.

The reception afterwards was awesome.  We had tons of fun dancing and other wedding things. We decided to drive back that night so we had to leave the party a little early. We finally made it home around 2am this morning. It had been a long day.

Congratulations to Jazz and Daniel.
