If I haven’t been updating much its because I’ve been in the wild’s of SouthWest Texas.
Jamal, Jared, and I packed our gear and headed for the great outdoors. We arived there about an hour and a half later at Dino Valley State Park in Glen Rose, Tx.
We did things like hiking, getting lost, getting found, getting lost again, and finally making it back to camp. Then we grilled man food like burgers, brats, and steaks [with a side of beans at every meal]. We slept under the stars, swam in a river, attempted [hopelessly] to catch fish with our bare hands, and even jumped off of a rock ledge into the swimming hole [similar to cliff jumping but on a much smaller scale].
We also had an incredible time with God on top of a “mountain” while the sun was setting and the three of us were alone with God and His creation. Its amazing how clearly you can hear His voice when you get away from all the distractions.
