J. La Fond and I drove down to H-Town to see Stephen Merkey for his birthday weekend. We’re having a legit time going to the lake and being “on a boat”. Also, Stephen turned 20, and like everyone that transitions out of their teens, he inherited a wealth of wisdom and knowledge when he woke up this morning. Its pretty cool.
Over the weekend a group of us celebrated Willie’s birthday.
I forget how old he turned, but I’m sure it will be a good year.
We had been playing games outside all afternoon and the rains had seemed to hold off, allowing us to play. But when we headed inside to eat the rains came pouring. Unfortunately we hadn’t cooked the burgers yet. So some poor
When was the last time you went to the Roller Rink [The Roller-Skate place]?
If you were with me Friday night, then you went Friday night. Above is a poorly lit photo of our adventures at Kristina’s birthday party. We had a lot of fun laughing at each other when we fell down.
I had one especially good fall when Jessica Warren was chasing me. Also,
We had a shindig for him. I made some queso and he set out some drinks.
We had a sign set up that asked people to donate to the tattoo fund. He wants to get a new tattoo for his birthday, and since it will be pricey he asked everyone to chip in instead of getting
It was Kasi Hollowell’s birthday the other day, so she had a big party on Friday night. It was a lot of fun. A-Town and myself were asked to perform, of coarse we complied. We opened for the Kasi&Casey as well as The Hoffman.
Also, there were these shrimp cocktail things that I liked a lot.
We used to live together and so I feel almost like his brother. To help celebrate his birthday a group of us went down to Cedar Hill to have a bon fire and hang out.
We had a good time until the police officer stopped by and let us know that the park had closed...
The other day a small group of us [Trish, Cameron, Caleb and myself] went out to Cafe Brazil for coffee.
Since it was still “kind of” my birthday I ordered the Fried Ice Cream. Little did I know that the serving was big enough for an entire 3rd world nation.
The four of us ate all we could and we only ate about
Tons of people remembered [or were reminded by Facebook] and sent me nice messages throughout the day telling me to have a “happy birthday”. To all those people, thanks.
To commemorate the day I had a handful of close friends over for lunch after church.
This is two days late, but I'm not sure it will matter because I don't think Lauren R. is a PN reader. No matter though, I and the rest of the team [my computer?] here at PN wish Lauren the happiest of birthdays....

On April 18, 2006 at approx. 12:45pm Tafv Rose Parker was born. Today we celebrated the occasion with cake, ice cream, and presents for the birthday girl.
Tafv is Grace's little girl. She is super fun. She pretends to be shy but is really showy for a 3 year old...

Today I took a trip to Oklahoma. I didn't have school, so I asked off work and gave myself a 3-day weekend. The occasion [other than seeing an old friend] is Tafv's birthday. I would tell you all what I got her, but in case she reads this I don't want to ruin the surprise for tomorrow...
This is just a teaser, you'll have to click to read the full post.
Yesterday was Alan “A-Town” Jensen’s birthday. A whole crew of us went to help him celebrate at his house. You can see all of us fellas huddled around the table, and more importantly the Hamburger Cake [but even more importantly Bri's pie].
The festivities were endless, the food plentiful, friends were all around—it was everything necessary for a good party evening. We even had some unexpected guests
The majority of my house parties occur outside in the backyard with a lot of couches. It’s fun, the weather is usually nice, it’s comfy, and kinda creative. But last time we didn’t have enough seating, so for my party this weekend I wanted to get another couch.
I found a free one on craigslist in the Garland/Rowlett area. A-Town was over to help me prep for
I received this video from some friends for my birthday. I thought you all might enjoy it:
Thanks for all the txt’s and wall writings (facebook) I haven’t gotten on MySpace this weekend but I’ll assume I have something there and say thanks for that too.
Tonight was Cassie J.’s birthday party. It was slamming, the gals all wore summer dresses and the guys wore sweater vests, or just sweaters for those who didn’t have the vest. We each brought a small dish to pass and ate picnic style. Later after some chatting we had story time with Angela J. and then as it
I’m not sure if most of you will get this or not so I’ll go ahead and explain. It was Mary’s birthday. Mary, when spelled Merry is synonymous with Happy. So its like a pun.
Anyways, tonight was Mary’s birthday party and so a group of us [her friends] surprised her at P.F. Chang’s all dressed up like we were legit
