My father and I aren’t lumber jacks by trade, but occasionally we dabble.
The day after Christmas, while most were shopping, my dad and I set out to trim back part of this huge tree that threatened to smash part of our house–had it fallen during a storm or high winds. It was no small task however. The pieces, which hung over our roof, needed

The Christmas parties have begun.
Last night was Paradigm’s annual family Christmas party. Everyone gets dressed up [this year's theme was TV] and has a great time. Its small group based, so my small group worked together to come as Dora The Explorer.
Some of our team won for best costume. [Although there were many other great costumes that night].

As is tradition at Lakeshore church, there is held-on the eve of Christmas-a special service. This service typically has worship-carols, lights, choirs, and a small band ensamble. Tonight it had all those things as well. It was a very pleasant evening. The children performed a musical number which received a standing ovation. The service concluded with a salvation invitation.
