I made the worst sandwich the other day.
It was terrible. I'm naming it the "terrible sandwich". It was made of fish, cheese, onions, and mushrooms, on a bruchetta bread.
I don't normally make such horrible dinners, but this was a long day. I got home around 9p after leaving the apartment at 7:30a. I had been just going going going, all day and was more than ready to get home, eat a good meal, and relax....

Rachel and I went to a Asian Market to get everything we need to make Pad Thai. When we got there Roy, the helpful little asian man helped me get everything I needed.
He was really funny because he kind of went into detail about the different ingredients. He was super nice and when I left he gave me an autographed calendar.
Friday night I had Lauren and Ashley over for a cooking lesson. We also invited other people to come over and eat what they cooked. The other people didn't make it. And those that did come over didn't eat much. However, this shouldn't say anything about the girls' cooking ability...

What do you do when you've got half a loaf of bread starting to mold? Eat it. As fast as you can, so that the mold doesn't infect the rest of the bread. But what meal uses half a loaf of bread? You've probably never heard of it, 'cause I invented it today.

I made dinner and had a quiet night in. As I write this the night is still young but I already feel like I did more than I had originally intended. I wanted a home-style meal. So I made mashed potatoes and pork chops. I should get back to cooking instead of writing this before it all burns.
