Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a great time closing one decade and beginning a new one. I, with a group of people, celebrated the new year with London at his lake house.  We made some breakfast burritos and played “murder in the dark”.  Then watched the ball drop and said things like, “hurray” and “yippee”.

It was a lot of fun.

This weekend Nathan, Lauren, and I went to the lake house. We had a really good time, Nathan and Lauren both learned how to wakeboard.

I also had some down time while I waited for people to show up so I washed and waxed my car. It looks real shiny now.

What you are about to witness is a Weekend Rap-Up.

These haven't been seen for a while do to busy schedule and my rap energies being more focused on Paradigm. But I'm back with flows that will make you hollar.

And in the rare case that you've never seen a Weekend Rap-Up, allow me to give you a brief run down of what they are. Its a rap that summarizes my weekend. "Rap-Up" is a pun.

This weekend my job called me out to East Texas.

The company I work for has property out there for sale and it needs to be shown to potential buyers.  One of the lots has a house on it that I also show.  I’m kind of like a real estate agent.

Today at 5 the Paradigm student leaders loaded into some cars and headed for the Smith’s lake house. We’re having a weekend retreat thing of sorts.

At the moment (because I’m blogging from my phone) we are seated around a small fire about to have a worship session. It’s really nice out here and super nice of the Smiths to let us use their home.
