This is the last Weekend Rap-Up of this year. For those of you that are new to the scene, Weekend Rap-Up’s are my funny way of summarizing my weekend in a lyrical facet. As always you are encouraged to put these lyrics to music. Last week London S. did so and it turned out awesome. You should try it, just record yourself on whatever

Love The Unloved went to the show at the Plano Centre. We set up a table and got people to support our High School in Uganda, Africa.
Thanks to everyone that stopped by the table. Special shout-out to Chad, Alex, David, and Trevor.

P.S. Working a 14hr day isn’t as easy as it sounds… and it sounds pretty tough.

Friday night I worked an eleven hour shift because LTUL had a table at the Plano Centre and I went to help promote the cause, I didnt get home ’till 1am. There wasn’t a huge turnout, but we did alright.
We had two volunteers [Garrett & Lance] come and help us. They’re cool guys, and we really appreciated them giving up their Friday night to

Love The Unloved moved into our new offices this week. It’s pretty rad, mainly because it’s 3x the size of our old office and we all get desks instead of couches. In addition my desk is furnished with a monitor, mouse, and keyboard so I have a whole docking station thing.
But despite all the “perks” (aka: an office) of working for LTUL I’m looking for

This is a weekly segment that I have where I rap a summary of my weekend. Here goes:
“On Friday I woke up and ran down to school,
Class was long but overall cool,
I was pretty hungry when I went to lunch,
I couldn’t wait for something to munch,
Drove to a coffee shop to get some work done,
The work I did was really fun,
Love The Unloved mobile web design,
It looks good now but it took some time,
That Friday

This is the 6th entry in an 8 part series. To see the previous posts

Last night in between The Almost and Anberlin a guy named Jamie got up
and spoke for a bit about To Write Love On Her Arms (he is the
founder). It was cool to hear him speak because I like the story
behind his organization. It was also cool to see The Almost, the only
weird thing was

This is the 5th entry in an 8 part series documenting the events and
happenings of Love The Unloved’s trip to Cornerstone.
First off, the only place I get a decent signal is on a road at the
top of a hill. Last night it was raining and so I typed my post up in
the RV and thm ran up to the road so I could send it out via email.
Unfortunatley the rain was too hard and I

This is the 4th entry in an 8 part segment regarding my trip with Love
The Unloved to Cornerstone.
Day 4 went pretty well. Hayes and I worked 13 hours at the booth.
Pretty intense, but that’s what you do when your working for poor
African students. Tomorrow looks like more of the same. I’m sorry I
haven’t posted any pictures, I found that I can’t post pics from my
phone.
Cell service is still hard to come by. Good news is

This is the 3rd entry in an 8 part series regarding Love The Unloved’s
trip to Cornerstone.
Today the booth opened to the public. We generated a lot of excitement
by pasting over 500 posters advertising our booth. We also went around
and handed out about 600 leaflets with our info on it. The booth has
had some pretty solid traffic for not being mentioned in the official
Cormerstone program (mostly bands).
On a personal note I’m getting some sun (trying to

This is day 2 of an 8 day trip with LTUL to Cornerstone (Bushnel, IL)
We arrived around 7am. We found our place at the end of a mile long
line. The gates didn’t open until noon (however if you had a booth you
got in at 9). We entered and found a spot to claim as our own. From
there we went to LTUL’s booth to set things up there.
Afterwards I needed to go to the bathroom. Cornerstone

This is day 1 of an 8 day segment regarding Love The Unloved’s trip to
Cornerstone.
“Tommy, your order is ready, Tommy”
Our group was the only people there. We looked at each other and asked
who that could be for since there wasn’t any one else present. I was
seated in the seat closest to the counter so I was thus elected to go
see if the food was for us I for “Tommy”. I went up there but all

So tonight Love The Unloved was invited to a show by The White Tie Event at the Door in Dallas. They were awesome enough to let us use part of their merch table so we could sell our shirts. I had a good time. When I

Greetings. With the conference over we (the Love The Unloved team) is back on the road on our way home. The conference was in Arkansas, and so to get back to Rockwall we’re headed west into Oklahoma, then south to Dallas area. So on one of our gas-ups in OK we swung into an “Indian Store”. That was actually the

Hey guys, I know what you’re thinking. I was supposed to write a second article yesterday, but I never got the chance to. It was a pretty crazy day.
Yesterday I left with Taylor, Hayes, and Bayley Phillips to go to The Genesis Conference 2007 up in Fort Smith, Arkansas. We’re doing it for Love The Unloved, we got the opportunity to set

Love The Unloved. Have you heard of it? Its this campaign to get students involved in missions. Through them you can sponsor an African orphan so that they can go to school and learn and stuff. Or you can contribute to a project like helping to build a well at one of the orphanages/schools so that the children can have safe
