My small group [aka: home group, life group, cell group, whatever you want to call it] is called the Mariachi-Bandits. I’m not sure why we called ourselves “bandits” other than its a play on the word “band”, but I know that we wanted to be Mariachi- because a portion of our group is hispanic [and we like to celebrate our diversity]
Sunday afternoon I went with my small group co-leader to the NCA [National Cheerleading Association] Competition.
It was hosted at the DCC [Dallas Convention Center].
It was an eye opening experience for me, because first off, I didn't realize there were that many cheer leaders, and secondly, I didn't realize they all took it that seriously...
There is a small group of us that usually meet up at the Ridge Rd. Starbucks on Sunday evenings. We have a good time getting to know different people and just hanging out. There isn't any schedule or agenda, its just an open invite for people to come and hang out...
Paradigm took a trip to Surf Side, TX in lieu of a more traditional spring retreat this year. It was a lot of fun. We had rented three beach houses that were amazing. The guys house had almost 40 guys packed in it. We had to sleep all over the place, on the beds, on the floor, even out on the balcony. But I don't think there was a single complaint about it, everyone was so glad to be there...
Imagine what would happen if someone wrote a rap that somehow summarized their weekend. They could be clever and call it a "Weekend Rap-Up" instead of 'wrap-up'. It would be great, everyone would love it.
If you can't quite imagine how awesome it would be, just click "Read More".
On Sunday the sun broke out and invited us to come play with him at Harry Myers. A group of us left from church to go grab some food to-go and met up at the park to picnic and fly kites.

A weekend rap-up is a weekly segment here at ProjectNemeth in which I write a rap which summarizes [or wraps up] my weekend. Its pretty clever and always entertaining.
This is the Weekend Rap-Up for 2.14.09. For anyone that is new to ProjectNemeth (PN) a weekend rap-up is a Rap [like the genre of music] that summarizes [wrap-up] my weekend. Its a pun. Its fun. Now I'm done.
There has been a lot of Christmas parties as of late, and its not even over yet. I think there is one or two left to be had. Last night, however, was one of the best this season. It was a combined Interest Small Group Party, which in laymen’s terms means the Dance and Media groups came together to celebrate
Last night was the annual Paradigm Christmas Party. It was loads of fun. Good freinds, good times, good costumes, and good food. Special shout out to the Media Small Group who all dressed up like Bandits. We didn’t win, but I think we would have come in a close second.
Also, Nathan and Trish’s group did great with their rendition of West Side
I’m not a bad person I promise, but last night was the second time in two days that someone called the police regarding me or the group I was with.
Anthony M. and Taylor H. lead a small group at my house. It consists of mostly high schoolers of driving age. When I arrived home last night there was still a number of people there, and consequently a number of cars in the drive. I
I left my MacBook out in the foyer so some people could play around with PhotoBooth. Not to my surprise, when I came back I had all these “wonderful” photos [and 2 video clips].
Alright, hold on just a second. I know what you’re thinking, “That’s not a merry-go-round! Who does this guy think he is?” But I forgot to get a picture of the merry-go-round, and this is the next best picture, so lets just go with it.
I’ll set the scene for you. It was about 6:15 and my small group was meeting
Tonight the small group met and we took up a small collection then went and bought some pizza and chinese food. Pizza and Chinese food is great, whether its by itself or together, its always good. Our original plan was to watch a movie while we eat, but since none of us could agree on
Taylor H. and I run this great little group called The Andrew-Taylor Experience. We always have a lot of fun and stuff. We usually meet at 6 as part of Shift Small Groups. Yesterday though, we met up at the church after 3rd service and went out for a day of fun. As you can see in the picture, a good time was
